Rusty Venture is just any other single dad, trying to make a stable home for his two twin boys. Growing up, they never knew their mother, so it was up to him, and his body guard, Brock, to raise them up right. Family game nights, vacations all across the world, psychopaths dressed as giant butterflies raiding the compound. You see, Rusty is a super scientist, just like his dad was. He's trying (rather unsuccessfully, for the most part), to follow in Jonas' footsteps, but he just seems to lack a certain something that keeps him in debt more than anything. Or, it could just be that he's investing all of his time, money, energy, and research into cloning his sons, who are amazingly death-prone. It's the one thing he's actually very good at, actually. It's because of this, that if you happen to see the boys get blown up in a firey crash with lots of smoke and shrapnel, they'll still be around to annoy you next month. But he does this out of love for his boys, and would destroy the technology before ever selling his secrets. Of course, that would mean that should anything happen to the system he's set up, he'd have to stop dragging them to their peril for his gain, and start actually being a father.

Note on why he's such a cranky old goat:

Since the mun realises that his canon is somewhat obscure, this note is here as a bit of a warning. Rusty is a single father, with two "grown" boys. It's... complicated, and explaining it would just be a big spoiler, so I won't go into it.

He's full of bitterness, stress, and resentment, and tends to project this on anybody who seems like they'd be an easy target. His father died when Rusty was in his late teens/early 20s, forcing him to drop out of uni and take over the family business (that "Doctor" title? Totally means nothing), which he has spent the last 19 years running into the ground.

In short, he's mean, full of himself, and condescending on an epic scale. If you don't want your pup to be insulted, let me know, and I'll more than gladly tone it down.

Timeline:

Rusty's timeline is on par with canon. The boys no longer have their security blanket, and as result, he's begun to get lazy and doesn't often leave the property. The exception to this seems to be Milliways. Rusty is convinced that the appearance of the Bar in various parts of his house was brought about by an experiment that served to tear a hole through time and space. Naturally, he hasn't told anybody about this, because he doesn't know how to replicate it. Yet.

Rusty Venture is from Venture Bros, and is the property of Adult Swim. He appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.

Final Disclaimer: The pup is American, and his speech will reflect as much (unless the mun just forgets to brain, which is always a possibility). UK spelling, though, because that's what the mun is comfortable with, and that's the dictionary FireFox is set to.
